Thanks to YOU, it’s been another amazing year here at All About Learning Press!
Every year I hear from hundreds of moms and dads. Some come seeking help for a struggling learner, while many others come to share their children’s success stories. Interaction with our readers is always such a source of encouragement for me and my whole team. The testimonials you share with us via email, Facebook, Instagram, and right here on our blog make our day. Seriously. We LOVE hearing from you.
One grateful mom shared her thoughts about how All About Spelling has transformed her daughter from a struggling speller into a spelling lover!
My nine-year-old daughter has been a horrible speller from day one. She loved public school until second grade when she was constantly told she was just making the cutoff for the benchmarks. We decided to homeschool and the joy of learning returned—except for spelling. I tried a few different programs to no avail. My friend suggested All About Spelling, and last week, in desperation, I dove in and started at the very beginning.
Today I asked my daughter what subject she wanted to start with. With a big grin, she said “spelling.” After picking myself up off the floor, we breezed through three lessons. We are hooked! FINALLY, a spelling method that works with my daughter’s thought processes.” – Kathy
A grateful couple shared a wonderful testimony about the difference AAR has made for their autistic son.
We wanted to share the GREAT news! Today our son COMPLETED AAR Level 1! It took him a little over a year, but he finally did it! He is becoming more confident and his self-esteem is rising! This is a major deal to us because our son is autistic. The public school we took him out of gave up on him, but we knew AAR would help him! Thank you from the depths of our hearts for this amazing program!” – Dave and Teri H.
And we received this heartfelt message not long ago on our blog:
I am thankful I found your website. I have been a reader for some time now and find the resources are helpful, relevant, and age appropriate. Thank you for all of your hard work!” — Amber
Of course, creating top-notch reading and spelling programs is a huge part of what we do here at AALP, but Amber’s message highlights another important aspect of our mission. I want parents to have all the tools they need to teach their children to read and spell. So here on our blog, we publish informative articles, picture book reviews, and reading and spelling activities for children of all ages and abilities—all designed to help you help your kids.
It’s been a great year on our blog, but of all the posts we published in 2016, a few stand out as favorites!
