Z Is for Zebra Craft

Z Is for Zebra craft title graphic

Zippedy-doo-dah–the letter Z rounds out our ABC Letter Craft series! And nothing will put a zip in your preschooler’s step like our zany little zebra, ready to zigzag his way into your child’s heart. But there’s about a zillion stripes to put on, so you may need to catch some Zs when you’re done!

Here’s What You’ll Need

Instructions for Assembling Your Letter Z Craft

  1. Print the Z Is for Zebra Craft templates.
  2. Cut out the templates and trace the letter Z and the zebra body parts onto card stock.
  3. Cut out the letter Z and the zebra body parts.
  4. Hand cut 15-20 white “squiggles.”
  5. Attach the letter Z to a full sheet of card stock (we used purple, but you can use any color you like).
  6. Cut small slits along the upper edge of the zebra’s mane (both white and black pieces).
  7. Glue the white mane piece to the black mane piece with the bottom edges even.
  8. Tuck the mane piece under the upper edge of the letter Z and glue in place.
  9. Glue the squiggles to the letter Z to form the zebra’s stripes.
  10. Glue the nose and ears to the top end of the letter Z. Glue the nostril to the nose.
  11. Affix one googly eye just beneath the zebra’s ears.

Hello,

My preschooler has made the letter crafts all the way through the letter “U.” When I tried to access the remaining letters I was given an “access denied” message as well as “you have been banned from this site.” Crazy! What do we do now?

Robin E.

Misty,
I’m sorry you had trouble accessing the remaining letters! I have emailed you the complete set of crafts, but please try this link and see if it works for you. https://blog.allaboutlearningpress.com/category/abc-crafts/ If it doesn’t, please let me know what browser you are using. I don’t want anyone else having this problem.

We don’t currently have lowercase ABC crafts, but we are working on a new series. Look for them this summer.

However, we do have some ABC activities that do include lower case letters. Check out:

Tactile Letter Cards

ABC Caterpillar

and ABC Playdough Mats

When we do release our lower case craft series, we will be sure to announce through our newsletter, on our blog, and on our Facebook page!
