Ziggy is throwing a Summer Celebration Party, and you are invited!

EVERYONE is going to be there—Rocket, Herman, Bumble, Coco—the whole All About Reading and All About Spelling gang! What makes this party really special, though, is the “Cool Shades for Cool Friends” Sunglasses Style Show, and your student gets to be the judge!

Who will have the coolest and the silliest shades? Will it be Melinda? Or Elwood? Or maybe Cha-Cha has something spectacular to go with her new blue hue?

Instructions for “Cool Shades for Cool Friends”

1. Download and print out the sunglasses and character cards.
2. Cut out the reading word cards for the level at which you are teaching or the blank spelling cards and choose the spelling words you’d like to practice. (Print the cards back-to-back or tape/glue separate sheets together.)
3. Scatter the cards on the floor or on your table with the illustrations facing down.
4. Have your student choose a card and read or spell the given word.
5. Turn the card over to reveal the sunglasses and find the matching character.
