Nothing is quite as nice as working with your preschooler on a nifty new ABC Craft—especially when it’s this neat little net! It’s a great way for your child to catch some fun—and work on the ins and outs of lowercase letter N all at the same time!
Here’s What You’ll Need
2 sheets of printer paper
Card stock (we used green, blue, dark brown, and light blue)
Cut out the templates and trace the letter N and the net pieces onto card stock.
Cut out the letter M and net pieces.
Attach the handle to the top of the net, leaving the front edge of the rim free.
Use a marker to add the details to the net.
Glue the net onto a piece of card stock (we used green, but you can use any color you like).
Place the letter N “in” the net by tucking it under the loose edge of the handle rim.
Glue the bottom edge of the net rim in place.
Learning with Your Letter N Craft
As you and your child assemble your N Is for Net Craft, practice saying /n/–/n/–net together. You can find more tips for working on pre-reading skills with your preschooler in this handy download.
