O Is for Octopus Craft

O Is for Octopus title graphic

Eight arms means eight times the fun in this ABC Craft! Your kids will be itching to get their tentacles on our adorable octopus, so download the template and get ready for some undersea adventure!

Here’s What You’ll Need

Instructions for Assembling Your Letter O Craft

  1. Print the O Is for Octopus Craft templates.
  2. Cut out the templates and trace the letter O and the octopus tentacles onto card stock.
  3. Cut out the letter O and the octopus tentacles.
  4. Glue the letter O and the octopus tentacles onto a full sheet of card stock (we used green, but you can use any color you like) to form an octopus.
  5. Use a hole punch to punch out 40-50 tiny dots from card stock (we used purple).
  6. Glue 6-10 dots onto each tentacle to form suction cups.
  7. Affix two googly eyes to the top of the O.

First reaction – “meh – too much cutting for mommy”…but the truth is that my daughter would LOVE these ABC crafts and the time spent creating something together is only going to put joy into learning those letters. Worth the time.

Lania,
I know what you mean. I would be inclined to do the cutting for many letters all a once, with a good moving playing to pass the time.
