Introducing All About Spelling Level 4 Color Edition!

We are dancing with joy that our Level 4 color edition is now available for this new school year, and you will be too!

Full-color lesson plans aren’t the only reason to do a little happy dance, however. We significantly upgraded Level 4 content and materials to make teaching and learning easier, more fun, and better than ever!

Here’s what’s new, what’s different, and what remains the same…

What’s New, What’s Different

Full-Color Activity Book

The brand-new, full color Twirl into Spelling activity book features over 280 pages and includes a wonderful assortment of activities, Word Banks, Word Sorts, and Writing Stations, all designed to help your child succeed in spelling and enjoy it every step of the way. For older students who need more of a challenge, new Advanced Application sections provide the opportunity to practice new concepts with higher-level, multisyllable words. You’ll also find full-color pull-out spelling rules posters featuring everyone’s favorite dancing chicken–Cha-Cha! Display these fun and important posters in a visible place so they’re easy to reference any time.

Expanded Full-Color Teacher’s Manual

The new Level 4 teacher’s manual has been significantly enhanced with added tips, resources, and lesson guidance to make teaching easier and truly an open-and-go curriculum. You’ll appreciate the full color throughout the manual, but you’ll love all the new content we’ve added to help you and your students succeed, including:

  • New “Before You Begin” sections at the beginning of each lesson that provide the objective of the lesson, what you will need for the lesson, and an overview of the lesson material and how to present it
  • LOTS of brand-new teaching tips
  • More hands-on learning activities
  • Advanced Application activities for older, more advanced students
  • An extensive new appendix section with more than 50 pages of useful teaching and reference material, including a list of all spelling rules from AAS Levels 1–4, new Rule Breakers words from Level 4, a Suffix and Prefix Meaning page, and much more

Themed Stickers

We know… your students love our hero characters! That’s why we’ve created custom stickers to correspond with each level. Each sticker pack includes a large sticker of that level’s hero character. Collect all the characters and place them somewhere special once the program is complete.

All About Spelling Color Edition materials

But as great as these changes are, some of the best things about All About Spelling haven’t changed at all!

Here’s What We Didn’t Change

Our High-Quality Content

All About Spelling has always provided complete and comprehensive instruction using the Orton-Gillingham approach. The new edition still contains everything that makes All About Spelling “easy to learn and easy to teach,” but now there’s even more!

Our “Go Ahead and Use It” Guarantee

Although we are confident that All About Spelling is better than ever, we want you to be just as sure. As always, our guarantee allows you to use All About Spelling for an entire year risk-free. If you purchase it from us and discover within the first year that it’s not for you, simply send it back and we’ll refund your purchase price. No questions asked.

Our Top-Notch Customer Service

If you’ve ever had to contact us with a question about using our products, you know that our customer service team is nothing short of amazing. Whether you contact us over the phone, in an email, or on social media, our team always takes the time to help you solve your problem.

Have Questions about the All About Spelling Color Edition?

Don’t worry, we are here to help! We’ve created a special information page to help give customers a more in-depth view of the Color Edition levels, but here are answers to a few questions you might have. As always, our customer support team is just an e-mail away.

Can I use the black-and-white First Edition Level 4 Teacher’s Manual with the Color Edition Activity Book?

No. The lessons in the Color Edition were changed slightly and the Color Edition activity book will not line up with the First Edition Teacher’s Manual.

I already used the black-and-white edition of Level 1, Level 2, and/or Level 3. Can I switch to the Color Edition for Level 4?

Yes! The two editions follow the same scope and sequence, so you can move between the color edition and black-and-white version without any trouble. For example, you can go from black-and-white Level 3 to color Level 4 and back to black-and-white Level 5.

What happened to your Interactive Kits?

We’ve made purchasing even easier! Due to customer feedback, we have phased out our Interactive Kits. Instead, the Letter Tiles now include all tiles needed for all levels of All About Reading and All About Spelling and are purchased separately as a one-time purchase. The divider cards are also now included with the review boxes.

We started with the B&w versions and tried our first color version this year and loved it. It reminded my kids more of AAR which they love.
