T Is for Turtle Craft

Plod. Lumber. Trudge, trudge, trudge. This week’s ABC Craft animal may be slo-o-o-o-o-w and shy, but we’re sure your little ones can coax him out of his shell pretty quickly! All he needs is some TLC (and a little glue).

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • 2 sheets of printer paper
  • Card stock (we used brown, light green, dark green, and purple)
  • T Is for Turtle Craft templates
  • 1 “googly” eye
  • Glue stick and pencil

Instructions for Assembling Your Letter T Craft

  1. Print the T Is for Turtle Craft templates.
  2. Cut out the templates and trace the letter T and the turtle body parts onto card stock.
  3. Cut out the letter T and the turtle body parts.
  4. Attach the letter T onto a full sheet of card stock (we used purple, but you can use any color you like).
  5. Glue the shell markings to the turtle shell and glue the shell on top of the letter T.
  6. Attach the head to one end of the turtle shell and the tail to the other end.
  7. Affix one googly eye to the turtle’s head.
